Assistant Plant Manager
Candidate will be responsible for the supervision of day to day job production. Responsible for monitoring and assigning daily production work flow to meet scheduling deadlines. Must be able to read and understand shop drawings, specifications and fabrication documents. Comprehensive knowledge of curtain wall (unitized and stick systems), windows and skylights. Must be proficient in Word and Excel.
Duties
- Ability to supervise and motivate fabrication and assembly staff to work efficiently and safely.
- Comprehensive understanding of material processing and scheduling.
- Contacting suppliers for material requirements and deliveries
- Track labour job costing on a project by project basis
- Manage inventory and shipping / receiving
- Co ordinate job site deliveries / communicate with multiple site foremen
- Work closely with company Project Managers and President

Project Manager
Individual must be a motivated self-starter able to deal with customers, suppliers and employees. Must have excellent people skills. Able to read architectural drawings. Must be proficient in Word, Excel and AutoCad.
Duties
- Coordinating shop drawing submittals and approvals
- Administrating contractual obligations
- Ordering materials from suppliers
- Attending job site meetings
- Coordinating shop releases for manufacturing and installation.

Journeyperson / Apprentice Glaziers - Architectural Glass & Metal Technician
Candidate will be responsible for the installation of aluminum and glass window, entrance and curtain wall systems, glass and glazing of all types.
Duties
- Install aluminum entrances and doors and hardware
- Install aluminum windows.
- Install aluminum curtain wall (conventional and unitized).
- Install all glazing components including back pans, sealed units, and aluminum panels.
- Install mirrors, interior partition glazing and glass to hollow metal frames.
- Seal framing to building materials - understanding of VB
- Use and maintain safety and access equipment

Fabricator - Windows / Entrances / Curtain wall
Individual must be a motivated self-starter able to work with little supervision. Candidate will be responsible for the cutting, machining, and assembly of fenestration products. Must be able to read and understand shop drawings and material cut sheets.
Duties
- Cutting stock length material
- Machining material in preparation for assembly
- Assembly of frames with and without glass

Estimator
Candidate will be responsible for the preparation of material and quantity take-offs from architectural drawings. Preparation of product breakdowns for costing. Must be able to read and understand architectural drawings, specifications and bid documents. Must be proficient in Word, Excel. Must be able to meet closing date deadlines.

- Preparing quantity take-off.
- Preparing product breakdowns for costing
- Contacting suppliers for competitive pricing
- Costing of other project components
- Preparing final bid numbers for review
